$48,600.00 – $68,600.00 per year depending on experience
Job Summary:
The Market Development Manager will assist and seek new business by acquiring and inquiring new and current customers. This manager will focus on opening new accounts and complete all proper documents and procedures from start to finish. This manager will also assist with current accounts both in vending and FSOP in updating contracts and follow-ups to stay current with all our programs. Opportunities across our territory will fall into the prevue of this position. Promotions and programs must be created to improve the success of our brands and our customers business. This position will assist in all of the above on Lana’i island.

Essential Functions:
- Acquire new accounts for the Territory and Help to update new/existing accounts with Look of Success through company-standard sales procedures and templates.
- Determine the qualified accounts opportunities and investment levels, incremental displays and equipment placements, and promotional programs that could be offered to the new account.
- Assists Sales & Marketing Manager with establishing goals, objectives, quotas, and analyzing the market to determine sales opportunities and customer needs to grow beverage and frozen products throughout Maui.
- Communicate with Account Managers, Field Market Manager, Frozen Operations Manager, Frozen Office Manager, and Customer Service Department on information about the new customer.
- Ensure completion of surveys for potential customers and all credit checks are complete before installations.
- Assure account and customer standards are met; including proper POS is executed and proper maintenance of company assets (vending machines, coolers, fountains, etc.)
- Transport, replace, and maintain Point of Sale advertising as appropriate for account.
- Ensure assets meet minimum performance requirements and develop a plan of action for those assets generating low or zero volume.
- Review business results with customers on an annual basis, and track activity of account and performance measurements against assigned goals and expectations per customer.
- Support contract renewal negotiations as requested.
- General technical knowledge of basic dispensing equipment and requirements.
- Work closely with Account Managers and Frozen Department to implement and complete store resets on a quarterly/ semi-annual basis.
- Maintains and tracks all beverage and frozen products to ensure the products are fresh, clean, and sales worthy.
- Must ensure the proper rotation of all products.
- Assists in creating and maintaining a clean and orderly beverage aisle, shelves, cold space, FLM’s, displays, rack and point of sale both permanently and temporary.
- Will report any unusual product damage or deviation to Field Market Manager and or Sales & Marketing Manager.
- Assists all point of sale merchandising so that any trademark piece is clean, in attractive condition, and positioned in the account in a timely/ current manner.
- Assist with any deliveries or Hot Shots for beverage and frozen when needed.
- Maintaining confidential information between employees and staff members.
- Regular attendance is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Physical Demands:

- Will be subject to hazards including mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
- Will be working in both inside and outside environmental conditions.
Qualification Standards
Required Education:
- High school diploma or GED
Required Experience:
- Required 2 + years of beverage experience
- Preferred 1 + years of warehouse experience
- Preferred 1 + years of merchandising experience
- Preferred beverage vending experience
Licenses or Certificates:
- Traffic Abstract with safe driving record and valid Hawai’i Driver’s License.
- Forklift Certification
- Electric and Manuel Pallet Jack Certification
