Title: Full-Time Exempt Warehouse Supervisor

Job Information:

The Warehouse Supervisor will plan, organize, and monitor the storage, and distribution of all beverages received from the dock, ensuring smooth and consistent operations. The position will supervise approximately 6-10 employees.

Salary range is: $58,000.00- $70,000.00 (depending on experience)


Essential Functions

  • Must maintain personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish warehouse and receiving needs. Interviews would need to be conducted.
  • Plans, coordinates, and schedules employees, providing training and motivation as well as monitoring and evaluating the performance of the warehouse and receiving associates.
  • Manages each associate’s ability to safely operate material, handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations. Counseling, recording, and performance reviews are expected to be done to develop crew members.
  • Maintains and tracks all equipment used in the warehouse to accomplish operations in the warehouse safely and effectively. Provides appropriate equipment and racking to ensure the safe transport and storage of all equipment and beverages. Researches any material handling equipment to ensure procurement of the most suitable equipment to perform the job safely and in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.
  • Resolve any discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and reports through eoStar. Monitors the flow of paperwork from receiving to inventory control for timely entry into eoStar.
  • Working hand-in-hand with the Distribution Manager on inventory control of all beverage items.
  • Write off the necessary product at the end of the shift.
  • Will oversee the staging of all beverages onto the pallet (from assembly to sub-assembly) for next-day delivery. Ensure that all beverages are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures set forth. Will oversee the rotation of inventory in the warehouse.
  • Monitoring and measuring the warehouse performance through the receiving reporting, movement, and storage of material, and transfer of service parts through the eoStar system.
  • Must ensure and maintain cleanliness in the warehouse.
  • Approval of timecards every pay period- managing vacations, sick calls, and unexcused absences.
  • Maintaining confidential information between employees and staff members.
  • Regular attendance is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary languages used in a workplace.
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
  • Requires good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must possess basic computational skills.
  • Ability to access, input, analyze, and retrieve information from computers.
  • Knowledge of computer accounting programs as well as math skills.
  • Ability to maintain excellent relations with staff and customers as well as confidentiality at all times.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position will require the management of Warehouse Laborers. This position is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within the warehouse department.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 2-3 hours per day. Walking and standing are required the rest of the working day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, 6-8 hours per day.
  • Requires writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, pulling, pushing, grasping, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Talking and hearing occurs continuously to communicate with peers, customers, and management.
  • Ability to receive detailed information through words and vision.
  • Must have finger dexterity to be able to operation phone, filing cabinets, computer, electronics, printers, electric typewriter, fax machines, photocopiers, dolly and other office equipment as needed.
  • Will be subject to hazards including mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
  • Will be working in both inside and outside environmental conditions.

Qualification Standards

  • 18 years or older

Required Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience

  • 1+ years of warehouse/ beverage distribution experience
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • Preferred: 3+ years of warehouse experience
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience

Licenses or Certificates

  • Safe Driving Record
  • Valid Hawai’i Driver’s License
  • Forklift Certification
  • Electric and Manuel Pallet Jack Certification
