Title: Field Technician I
Job Information:
This position will be responsible for uncrating, cleaning, documenting, and preparing various equipment such as coolers, vending machines, fountain dispensers, freezers, and trailers for delivery or removal. You’ll ensure all necessary documentation, including full-service agreements, is completed, signed, and returned by customers before equipment installation. Additionally, you’ll assist customer care technicians with equipment installations and removals as required and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse for parts and equipment.
Essential Functions
- Will work and train alongside a Field Technician II or III on fountain, vending, cooler, and freezer equipment.
- Will assist Field Technician II or III on the documentation of all installations, removals, maintenance or repair requests that come from the Customer Care Clerk as well as completing work orders and obtaining the proper signatures.
- Will assist Field Technician II or III with any repairs, installations or removals of fountains, vending, or coolers.
- Must be able to service any customer on the cleaning of bar guns and fountain dispensers.
- Must be able to keep all equipment and parts in warehouse organized, and have full accountability of all inventories of both parts and equipment.
- Must use forklift, hand truck, appliance hand truck, and or platform lift to properly move equipment into or out of customer location.
- Must be able to maintain the cleanliness of vehicles assigned to you by the Company.
- Operating a Company vehicle for the purpose to complete job duties/tasks.
- Maintaining confidential information between employees and staff members.
- Regular attendance is essential to the successful performance of this position. This position will require night shifts, on-call shift, weekends, and holidays.

- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary languages used in the workplace.
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.

- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
- Must possess basic computational skills.
- Knowledge of computer accounting programs as well as math skills.
- Ability to maintain excellent relations with staff and customers as well as confidentiality at all times.

Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously. Will be required to occasionally exert up to 75-400 pounds of force, frequently to move equipment.
- Required the repetitive motion of pulling, pushing, grasping products to move from on property, from Company vehicle, and from customer accounts.
- Requires writing, standing, sitting, walking, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Talking and hearing occurs continuously to communicate with peers, customers, and management.
- Ability to receive detailed information through words and vision.
- This position will be subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions.
Qualification Standards:
Required
- 18 years or older, high school diploma or GED, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required licenses
- A clean traffic abstract
- A valid driver’s license for operating a company vehicle
- Forklift Certification
- Electric and Manual Pallet Jack Certification preferred
$21-26/hour Depending on Experience
